12 Prayers To Show Thanks For Your Food

Our Father in Heaven,

We give thanks for the pleasure

Of gathering together for this occasion.

We give thanks for this food

Prepared by loving hands.

We give thanks for life,

The freedom to enjoy it all

And all other blessings.

As we partake of this food,

We pray for health and strength

To carry on and try to live as You would have us.

This we ask in the name of Christ,

Our Heavenly Father.

Gracious Lord,

We thank you,

For the food

We are about to receive,

For the nourishment

Of our bodies,

For Christ sake,

Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We give thanks for all the provisons you have given us,

Bless this food,

And Bless our friends,

And family,

Who've come to dine with us today.

Dear Lord,

We have gathered together

to share

Good times,

Good conversation,

Good friends

Good food,

Which we thank you for all.

Amen.

You are Mighty Lord,

And All Providing,

We thank you for this food you have given,

For nourishment

And delight,

We ask a special Blessing,

To those who have prepared this meal,

With Love and care.

Tonight.

Our Father,

Who art in Heaven,

God,

From the beginning of time,

You have been our provider.

"The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven" Psalm 105:40

As such, we give you the most high praise for these bountiful blessings,

To nourish our bodies and our minds.

Dear Lord,

Thank You for this meal.

There are so many people who are hungry across the world,

But we are so blessed to be able to eat when we want

And to be able to chose what we want to eat.

Let us not forget how fortunate we are

And let us not forget the less fortunate.
